About Flight Community Services, Inc.
In 1995, a group headed by current executive director Tim Hilton, founded Flight Community Services (FCS), which incorporated and obtained its non-profit status soon thereafter. The company's mission is to provide culturally oriented services that promote community unity and contribute to the well-being of African American youth and families. Since its inception, and on an ongoing basis, FCS accomplishes its mission by creating and providing youth, family and community services and programs, among which are the Take Flight Continuing Education Scholarship Program and CityFlight Media Network.
